Description
From the Hofalmen to the Hofpürglhütte, via the 'Austriaweg' high-altitude trail to the Mahdriedel. From here, you'll have a view of the Bischofsmütze and part of the Gosaukamm, also known as the Salzburg Dolomites. Lunch at the idyllically situated Mahdalmhütte at an altitude of 1,539 meters. From the terrace, you'll have a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains, including the imposing Bischofsmütze. Then, on to the Aualm.
